Johannes T’Kindt was born near Ghent, Flanders and studied luthiery at the International Lutherie School Antwerp (ILSA). During his studies at ILSA, he worked as an intern-aprentice with Stephen Hill, where he got familiar with the Granada style of guitar making. He moved to Spain in 2017 and established his workshop in Nigüelas, a small village in the Sierra Nevada, close to Granada. His flamenco and classical models are built in the traditional style but with a personal touch. Always looking to improve the sound quality of each guitar. The woods are carefully selected and the craftsmanship brought to a high level. His fame is rising and soon the prices will go up. We are a great fan and supporter of young skilled luthiers (all nationalities) that are building in the traditional manner and adding a personal touch to each guitar, always looking to improve. Johannes is a good example of this new generation.
This Blanca is great value for the money. Adorned with less decorations makes it possible to offer a guitar like this for the money. Build by two skilled hands, with selected woods and french polish is it a bargain for a new luthier guitar. Simple and elegant looking but pure and soulful in sound. Excellent playability.
