Roberto Ceretti Flamenco guitar Cypress/Spruce
One from our personal collection. A special true artisan Flamenco guitar made by Italian luthier Roberto Ceretti in 2016.
Ceretti works from the remote hills in North-west Italy and builds his guitars for musicians only, even trading for tools if needed. Without commercial intentions, he prefers his guitars to be cherished and played. Selecting and cutting down the woods from his living area and building only a few guitars per year on request by musicians.
A well build traditional blanca with a deep voice and carefully selected woods. Pure in it’s simplicity with friction pegs that run smooth and accurate. This blanca has a slightly deeper body which gives her some more depth. The very slim neck makes her easy to play, with a scale lenght of 660 mm, nut of 54 mm and string spacing 60 mm she is for me personally the perfect tool for the professional guitars or people that like a bit more ‘space’.
A bargain, considering the rarity and pure artisan craft of this instrument. Would rate her actually double the asking price.
