The Maravilla M40 Blanca gives you the pure flamenco sound: bright, punchy, almost snappy, powerful, yet also warm and sensitive if played with the right touch. The instrument has the perfect balance for driving percussionists and dancers. Ideal for both the beginning and advanced flamenco player.
The M40 is made according to the methods of the old masters from Spain with a thin top from European spruce and back and sides from clear Agathis wood. Typically ‘flamenco’ are also the slightly less deep construction of the body, the golpeadors (flamenco pickguard) applied to the top and the flat neck angle. The latter ensures the typical low action and thus the clear, punchy and almost rattling flamenco sound.
As with the other Maravilla models, this flamenco model is also equipped with a trussrod that allows the guitar’s action to be adjusted. It also increases the stability of the neck.
