A great example of refined craftsmanship and the amazing tonal character that makes his instruments so sought after by top guitarists worldwide. Built with a cedar top and Indian rosewood back and sides, it produces a warm, resonant sound with remarkable depth. Very balanced and possessing long sustain, with powerful basses that make the instrument a concert-worthy guitar for stages and beyond.

This guitar is in incredibly beautiful condition and has recently been fully repolished. The tuning machines are Rodgers and made of brass and pearl knobs.

A magnificent example of Panhuyzen’s leading craftsmanship and a top-quality concert guitar, built by one of the most prominent German-Canadian guitar makers.

Description

Kolya Panhuyzen was born in Berlin in 1941. He built his first guitar in 1967 in the workshop of his uncle Edgar Mönch. In 1974, he established his own workshop in Toronto, and in 1992, he opened a second one in Germany. The perfectly crafted guitarwork and impeccable aesthetics are exactly what you would expect from a guitar maker with Panhuyzen’s international reputation and experience.

Unfortunately, the built-in microphone no longer works, but this can be professionally removed!
