Many concert guitarist globally favor and play his guitars.
This classical guitar is a rare and special one, in sound, volume and appearance. Great balance, huge projection and easy playability. One of the best in our current stock, a solid and strong feel with the ‘simple’ refinement of the Granada school. The guitar vibrates on your chest when played. Along with high quality selected timbers such as the very old and silky spruce top with stunning looking back and sides made out of beautiful drawn Dalbergia Spruceana (no longer on the Cites list, thus free from paperwork)
Haven’t seen them build any more nowadays with these quality woods
The balance between the full basses and singing trebles are excellent. The guitar is fitted with very high-quality Rodgers tuners that do the guitar justice.
Highly recommend for the serious guitarist that truly wants a solid and secure feeling guitar that elevates their expression of playing.
The guitar is build in 2001 but in more than excellent condition (even the French polish is completely intact)
On the bottom side is a transparent ‘golpeador’ placed, this can be removed upon request.
Comes with a high quality ‘bomb proof’ custom case by Calton.

Description
Born in Granada in 1960, José Marin Plazuelo is the nephew and disciple of Antonio Marin Montero. In 1974 he began an apprenticeship with his uncle. Under his uncle’s guidance, José has become one op the top builders of Spanish guitars. His guitars are entirely hand build using traditional techniques. Well known for there sound quality and high volume. José’s classical guitars are mainly inspired by the experience acquired from his uncle. However, his flamenco guitars are similar to those of Francisco Simplicio (1874 – 1932), a legendary guitar maker from Catalonia (Spain).
