2008 Francisco Navarro Garcia-Grand Concert Special Reyes model. Spruce top, cypress back and sides, ebony fretboard, ebony-reinforced cedar neck, cocobolo bridge and veneer headstock, fine-grade tuners with black buttons, and clear golpeador.
This is the flagship model of Navarro’s line, an award-winning luthier among the best of Paracho, Mecca of guitar makers in Mexico.
His Reyes model is considered by some professional players to be as good or better than some of the actual Reyes-made guitars (Players such as Vicente Amigo played this model and luthiers including Tom Blackshear praise Navarro’s Reyes model at this very affordable price.)
This particular guitar is MINT. The only difference with a new one is the headstock which Navarro later changed to the Reyes headcarving.
