(private collection) Daniël Royé (very rare) Classical guitar 1980

Luthier Daniël Royé from Amsterdam built a limited number of classical and baroque guitars in his early years. Just like his string instruments, these were of excellent quality. Although he started with guitars, he now primarily focuses on building and restoring violins, violas, and cellos. He draws his inspiration from studying antique instruments. His guitars from earlier periods are extremely rare and unique!

Description

This rare classical guitar, too, boasts a distinctive timbre, partly due to Daniël’s choice of wood and building method.

For example, the headstock is closed for increased sustain—a unique feature we’ve never had before! This unique and beautiful guitar boasts excellent balance and a smooth playability, achieved through his precise craftsmanship!
